CASE STUDY: Lead Magnet Writing, Blog Writing and SEO Management for SaaS Company.

LogonBox is a SaaS company that develops simplified self-service password reset and identity management software for business and consumer use. The company's Marketing Manager contacted Full Height Copy in 2020 to write and design a white paper lead magnet campaign. In 2023, the company Director approached us to manage their website SEO and blog content.

How did we help?

Below is an overview of the steps we took to achieve the client's aims.

White paper lead magnet

1. Brief

We spent time talking with the client's Marketing Manager to understand:

  • The company – brand voice, products, target audience(s) and competition
  • The white paper topic and how the client's product should be positioned as part of the customer solution​​
  • Design requirements
  • Budget, white paper length and timelines.

As part of the briefing process, we suggested that the white paper could be repurposed as a series of blog posts to get a higher return on investment, so we also explored target keywords to support SEO. 

2. Research and outline

Our copywriter spent time researching the client's market and competition to further refine the product's unique selling points and position in the marketplace. She then drafted a white paper outline and submitted it to the client for approval before writing the first draft. 

3. Writing and design work

Our SaaS copywriter spent the next 10 days drafting copy for the white paper and an accompanying website landing page. Our senior editor then made final adjustments to the copy before sending it to the client for review and sign-off. 

With the copy finalised, our designer got to work on the white paper layout and design work, ensuring that the look and feel were in line with the LogonBox brand and target audience. Meanwhile, our copywriter created a series of blog posts from the white paper and formatted them ready for upload to the client's website.
